Fazua battery problem

Hi. I’m new to the forum an I’m asking for some advice. Here goes. I have a Fazua system fitted to a Lapierre road bike which I bought new on the internet. The system stopped working after about 10 rides so I got in touch with Fazua Germany directly. They issued a job tick and after some fault finding which they did remotely they asked me to return the drive system without the battery. To cut a long story short they determined it was the battery and replaced both the drive system and the battery. I now still have my original battery. My question is, can the Fazua battery be repaired?

Highly doubtful anyone will bother to touch it. Confirm this by contacting Fazua and ask if they can recommend a battery rebuild service. Pretty sure I know what kind of response you are going to get.

The high end ebike drive manufacturer's such as Yamaha, Bosch and others do not have internal battery components to sell to outside vendors such as battery repair shops. Proprietary information they keep to themselves. I would classify Fazua as in that group.

That system is still a relatively new one and does not have the kind of numbers out there in the field to justify any outside vendor getting into the repair of Fazua's. If there is an internal problem within the battery, you risk voiding the drive system warranty completely if you were to attempt an outside vendor trying to make a repair.
