Faulty on/off switch on my Fazua battery

Hi everyone. I am new to the group so apologies if this subject has been covered previously. I have a Boardman hybrid ebike which has done around 1000 miles but unfortunately no warranty. All of a sudden the on/off switch has stopped working so now when I want to wake up the battery I have to briefly connect it to the charger so the lights come on and then put it back on the bike. This isn’t too much of a problem except if I’m out on the bike and it times out when not being used I wouldn’t be able to wake it up again. Has anyone else had this problem? I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks Jack

Do I take it its over 2 years old?
The battery only sleeps after 8.5 hours so should be good to go all day.
If I stop for a coffee the new software goes to sleep but pressing the remote wakes it up again. Does yours?

No help I'm afraid but I've just bought a second-hand battery that does exactly the same. It means I can only use it straight after charging.
