Evo Range

I notice in the reviews that the EVO mountain bikes list lower range than the EVO non-mountain bikes despite identical motors and batteries. I assume this is due to the energy absorbed by the suspension and the wider, knobbly tires?

off-road bikes will always have lesser range compared to suspension-less hybrids or road bikes.

Yes, knobby tires, terrain, suspension all deplete range but suspension and knobby tires give you tremendous versatility.
