Error Message E12 on Haibike Sduro 5.0

Hi All, I have a Haibike Sduro 5.0. Yamaha battery seems to have charged fully but not talking to display. Getting error message E12. Does this mean I have to change the whole display panel or is there a fix I can use? Also how tricky would it be to change it myself or am I better off just putting it in the shop?

Thanks 2Wheeler. I was hoping I could mend it without replacing the whole unit, but had to in the end. All working fine now
