EFlow E3 Nitro City Kit

I am having a horrible time installing the front fender. when I flow the instructions that came with the City Kit, the front of the fender hits the tire and the back has a huge gap. Seems like maybe it should be mounted to the front of the fork or something else? I am going to call Currie Tech when they open.

Has anybody installed the City Kit on a Nitro?

Solved the problem by trimming the fender struts by about 1/2 Inch.
