Ebike Tune Up Question

So I have had my 2016 IZip Protour for almost two years and have put close to 1000 miles commuting to work 10 miles a day on it. I absolutely love this bike!!! However, with the miles getting up there, I know I am due for a tune up and have a couple questions....
There are not many Ebkie shops around me so when I bought it, I had to travel about 50 miles away to pick it up and 50 miles back.
Is the tune up on an ebike the same as on a regular bike? Or does anything need to get done to the electric components? Like, do they grease the motor, check the controller, test the battery or anything like that?
If not, can I just go to a normal local bike shop to get a tune up?
Is there anything else I should know before I take the bike in for service?

My local bike shop has been good about doing maintenance work for me. Most of what needs to be done is the same as on any bike. They're not going to test the controller or battery -- these things don't really need to be done unless you know you have a problem. As far as maintenance on the motor, that's out of my league -- no data.
