E-Stream EVO FS 3 Issue

I experienced an issue with my FS 3 yesterday. After a short ride, and battery level at 3 of 4 bars I hopped off and garaged my bike. An hour or so later I was going to hop on for a ride and found the battery LED flashing at one bar and the controls on the bar non-responsive to an on command. The controls on the bar were dark, and did not come on. I also tried the battery button but I got no response, just a flashing green LED on the battery. I attached the charging cable thinking maybe that might put it in a different mode and turned on the charger but I got nothing and I disconnected the charger. A few hours later I checked on it and the green LED was off and the bike responded normally when turning it on.

Anyone experience similar behavior? I suppose I should still take it in and have it checked out but figure without it in a fault condition they probably won't be able to diagnose or detect and issue?

I bought my FS 3 as a demo with warranty but did not get a manual and I can't find anything online that might describe this as a normal condition after some fault. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the exact same bike and have experience power/display cutting out while riding. Here's what I discovered and how I solved my issue, maybe yours is similar...

I ride my bike hard and in nasty, wet conditions. Most times I hose off my bike to remove grime and dirt after a ride. No issue with normal MTBs but with ebikes the water/dirt might be an issue. The battery configuration means that water/dirt can collect in the charger connection AND the hidden connection between the battery and the bike (this connection on the battery is just next to the connection for the charger). When my power was cutting out I removed the battery and found that the hidden connection between the battery and the bike was dirty/slightly corroded. I cleaned all the battery and bike connections and have not had the issue again. As a "best practice" I now remove the battery from the bike after a ride, clean and inspect all the connections and recharge the battery off the bike. I've had no issues since. Hope this helps...

I've only really road my bike a few times, hasn't been wet yet. I did however clean the contacts with contact cleaner after I got it because I have read about dirty contacts causing a problem. I will pull the battery and clean them again today to be sure.

Thanks for the input!
