Returned home to beautiful, sunny, WARM Whidbey Island yesterday!
Taking a walk along our town waterfront today to get the kinks out, saw 5 ebikes tooling around - 1 folder, 2 fat tire, 1 generic-looking cruiser, and the seafoam green version of my Giant La Free! That's really something for our small city!

Add one more La Free to the pack tomorrow, after I get my ride checked out and ready to go 🚲🚲🚲!

Does your mechanic refuse to work on that bike? :D

Riding a "different" bike, where "stuff" may not be exactly the same, might take a little getting used to. Point being, keep that in mind and cool it for a bit/first few miles.....

My mechanic likes this bike better than the other one (probably because he thought it would be the only one 😜). It's been in storage for about 3 months, so just need to give it the once-over, check the battery level, and head out.

Only planning 10-12 miles on the nearby military base (because there's not much traffic, and what there is, is slow) tomorrow...I know it will take a few rides to adjust back to the mid-drive, and the location and working of everything on the handle bars 😉.

My main worry is the dang Giant Ride Control, which apparently "upgraded" again while I was gone 😱😱😱!

Haven’t been on Whidbey Island in decades! Sure miss that part of the country.
