E-bikes and weight loss - a case study

It's a decent supplement to a complete exercise regimen that must include upper body work that biking has little or no effect on. And also include core work.

The last time I had a regular bike was over 20 years ago. It was over $400 new so good quality. Had something like 21 speeds. After a couple of miles I was sweaty and uncomfortable. 90lbs of tire pressure means I felt every little bump in the road. Hills of any size meant getting off and walking or gearing so low I could walk faster. I bet I never put more than 50 miles on that bike before donating it to a charity auction. I believe it fetched a bid of $12. Now I get out anytime the weather permits and average about 20 miles per ride and enjoy every minute of it. So do I get a better workout with an Ebike? YES
