E bike controller

Hi, I have a plea to all the electronic experts.
This is a picture of my controller, it comes froma 11 year old Smartmotion e 300 urban.. I wonder if one can read the lettering on the Pc and may suggest an alternative replacement for this gadget

Pulling a controller out of its case is just a waste of time, Pretty hard to identify what is needed from markings on the circuit board, Have you looked at the Smartmotion website to see if they still sell your controller?

If not, then you need to look at the case and see if it carries a current rating. You should know the voltage, I figure the E300 was sold as a 350W hubmotor bike? In my experience, any 15-17A controller running on 36 or 48 volts should be enough, You can even go higher in current, but the main criteria is that it fits where your old one was locared,

You will have to buy the controller paired with a display, as displays and controllers have to match, Also check your motor connector. Most hubmotors use molded 9 pin connectors, and those tend to be standardized. Buying a controller with the same plugs saves a lot of work, Also buy something that shows a wiring diagram for an ebike. People buy cheap scooter controllers with wires labelled in chinese and not really suited for bikes with displays. Ugh,
