Dolphin?

Hi - I recently got A Certain Brand E-Bike that turned out to have several problems and I eventually returned. Online company, no nearby place to have it worked on, the whole process took months. I like the look of the Qualisports Dolphin and my only qualm is that it is also just online and I would have to send it back (or convince them to let me send it back) in the case of serious problems. Can anyone reassure me? I am not a frequent rider, but would like the e-bike for hills etc. The video review looked promising, esp. the larger wheels in terms of comfort despite lack of suspension. I also like that it's foldable (could fit in my sedan trunk) and that the battery is removeable. Thanks!

I had a Qualisports Dolphin about a year ago and I really liked it for the few months I had it before it got stolen :(

It was a good bike that I really had no problems with in the time that I had owned it, nothing mechanically or electronically wrong with it and it went up to 20mph fine. When I bought it I really liked the design and that the battery was in the seat tube, so it didnt look too fancy or anything out of the ordinary to draw attention to. The range was pretty good, I could go 20 miles on throttle only without any problems. What I also liked about Qualisports was that they had a decent warranty that included the battery.

The only small thing I can think of that may have been an issue is also the fact that the battery is in the seat tube, you would definitely want to keep your seat locked up...just imagine if someone stole your seat, but not only is it your seat, but your battery.

Oh no I'm sorry! Yeah the video review sort of made a big deal about removing the battery being tricky, but then when they showed how it didn't seem that difficult. Hopefully the warranty would help if got another lemon ...
