Dog Trailer

I want to buy a Dog trailer for a Giant Trance E, its a medium 12kg dog.
Every one I look at connects to the spindle with adaptors. Do these pivot in every direction for a fully suspended bike?
I would much rather just attach it to the seat post but I cant find one.
Anyone seen one? I would have thought it would be the obvious choice.
Thanks.

Probably going to go for this.
Hopefully I can find some sort of Adapter for it.
Anyone else any ideas?
The Robert Axle Project claim to have it all. Mostly for thru axle attachments but if they can't fix you up they can tell you who can.

The trailer attachment to the axle is pretty flexible. It does not matter whether or not the bike it’s attached to has full or no suspension. Of course just like any trailer, it makes your vehicle longer so trying to turn 180* on a single track trail will require you to pick up the rear of the bike to position it.

I have a Burley Encore X attached to a Burley thru axle and it is really solid.

Thanks guys,
The Burley Encore X is too expensive for me, probably only get used a few times as we are renting a cottage for a week and he has not had his second inoculation yet.
I will be on smooth tracks and paved areas only so the cheaper one I posted should be fine I think.
I have now looked at the Robert Axle Project products and there is a supplier in the UK with the correct one in stock for my bike. £56 for a nut and bolt though. Needs must, looks like a well made product.
Thanks for all the help.

For sure. The trailer you linked will do just fine. I need the Encore X for the comfort of my animals (1 and 3 year old toddlers).
