Do you wear a mask when you ride?

While riding, I saw a young man walking on the sidewalk, nobody else in sight. He had a donut, I think it was, and he was taking the mask down for a bite and then putting it back up to eat it, then taking down the mask for another bite, just as the mayor wants us to do in restaurants.
It's mental illness to persist in the nonsense now that multiples of treatments are working pretty well.
While I agree it’s a bit overly cautious to wear a mask outside on the sidewalk while eating, it’s flat out stupid to assume there’s room in a hospital for you if you get sick or to assume that a “treatment“ will be available to you when you need it.

"A bit overly cautious" to wear a mask when eating outside and there's nobody else around. hehehe
And yes, as long as they basically prohibit speech about already working treatments, hospitals will fill and the treatments aren't going to proceed very quickly.

Lots of people with high risk issues if they get sick with COVID so a mask (even outside) makes perfect sense for them. One of the things I find really interesting is that the flu has really been held in check this season and I’m guessing it’s because of masking and people taking flu shots more seriously.
Prohibit speech about working treatments? Who is they? Ya lost me.

I don't have a problem with the strong and the free not wearing a mask.
But I'd expect them to be as strong and steadfast when they or their family are brought to the hospital with covid and inform the doctors and nurses of this so that they can properly prioritize who gets available treatment and a ventilator.

"They" is social media. If a doctor mentions a treatment most often the video or post is taken down. Even medical doctors have to use code words to avoid the censoring.

Really? Why? What treatment is so secret?
I didn't say they were secret. And it's not all the time for everyone. It's selective and done by big tech.
But working treatments are not being taken up, and they are being suppressed.
Ivermectin, for example, gets videos taken down if you're not onboard with official opinion on lockdowns.

I just don’t get why a treatment would be taken down.
People need different treatments based on how it affects them. Some folks don’t have a major problem and some, like that 41 yr old Republican congressman, die from it.
Censorship is huge right now. Even some doctors have to hold up signs to say what they mean on video in order to slip by the speech AI.

I've started to. My asthma doc recommended years ago that I use one in cold weather to help warm up the air I'm breathing, but I didn't like the idea. When our governor mandated masking even while outdoors, I complied, and noticed the difference it made during exercise. It's not nearly as uncomfortable as I feared 😉, and the warmer moister air I'm sucking in seems to help my lungs stay relaxed.

Indeed, as always. However, the pandemic was not prevented.
That being the case, and always, unless you have a vaccine ready, which also isn't a "good look", always treatment until you get a vaccine and long after that, treatments are the first line of medical help.
And they do not care very much about that, quite apparently.
Here some very useful videos from my primary physician... hope this helps. ;)

I'd like to note that many of her sources of information are well known and respected medical publications... Not social media.
For me that adds a layer of credibility to her presentation and I found it informative. Though I would probably do a bit more reading before doing as she advices...her advice is not radical or excessive and seems well founded.

On a side note... her brain makes her very attractive 🥰

Agreed... her approach is science-based and knows what she is talking about. ;)

Nope, I just hold my breath if passing somebody on the trail, but I do carry one to wear if needed.....like when I go inside a brewery to order a beer before sitting outside to drink it. 😁
