Have they been good to you?

Absolutely. They're clearly lifelong roadies, mostly seniors, with some serious equipment — including some spectacular vintage road bikes. But they don't take themselves too seriously, and I've always felt welcome.

Usually 25-35 bikes per ride, including 2-3 ebikes. One regular who looks in his 80s also rides an SL 1. We typically go 25-35 mi with 50-100 ft/mi gains. The pace is "conversational" (Zone 2). No drops.

Interesting to ride along on an SL. Most are stronger riders than I am — including the females (about 1/3). I can usually keep up on the flats and rolling Coast Highway hills in OFF but need SPORT to keep up with with the faster ones on the biggest hills.
