Display indicator

The indicator beside the battery flashes while not pedaling or throttling. To me it seems like a regen feature but I don’t have any such setup but my concern is I’m using two batteries with a blender and it’s not good with regen. My volts jumped on the (disply) from 54 to 96 on a 52volt battery and it only happens while that indicator is on coasting. So I would like to know if there’s a way to disable it somehow.
