@Cuz Vinny might be the person to ask this.

If brake lines are excessively long can they be cut and reconnected with good results?

And CV mentioned deleting wires cleaning up the look around his handlebars such as throttle erc. I bought a Scott EMTB that is a nice quality ride and feel. I was surprised to realize that it has no brake actuated motor cut outs. Thus two less wires there.

Almost thinking of not having motor cut outs on my Hydra brakes.

My bike after shortening the brake hoses. Have to get them bled as you will lose a little fluid. The brakes still work fine but they just don’t have the firmness I like so I’m taking it to my LBS and will have them do it. I live in an apartment and don’t want to make a mess by getting fluid everywhere which I will most likely do. 🤪

My Ultra bike doesn't have them and so far I've found no time in which they would be useful at all. In fact, on a steep technical climb, it's kind of nice to be able to tap the rear brake occasionally for control/keeping the font on the ground, etc, without stopping you dead in your tracks.

I can see how they would be useful for a commuter--many cadence sensing bikes keep applying power long after you stop pedaling, some actually use a form of "cruise control," and if you have a separate brake light you obviously need them.

It’s actually Bronze and Orange but the colors came out weird in the pic.
It definitely looks copper in the photos, but bronze always goes well with black.

As a separate comment, I really struggled with figuring out how to charge the bike. Thank god for the search function, otherwise I'd be pushing the bike.

I don't know a reason why WW would ship a bike with flat tires. Somebody started a thread on tire pressure.
Did your bike have a recommended pressure from WW?
Hydras are motorcycle grade bikes if they sent you a bike with a flat tire the least they could have done was give you a set pressure to inflate it. For the break in period then you can personally adjust it to your weight
Maybe it was easier to fit the bike in the box with flat tires? No, there was no manual that came with the bike. The tires themselves have a max pressure listed. Beyond that, it's all preference anyway.

I think you’re exactly right, they’re shipped without air to better fit In the box.

Yes. They’re set lower than normal, but they’re there. If you zoom the last photo you can see them.
