Hope the rider was ok.

Hopefully these morons get some instant Carma coming their way soon.

Now I am sure that my front and back cameras were a really good idea.

I guess they think this sort of thing is absolutely hilarious until someone does the same back at them and has a good laugh. I am a firm believer in:
'what comes around goes around!'

Those are GeekPro cameras, right?
Do they support, uhm what could it be called, cyclic recording(?) where it deletes the oldest files when low on space? So you don't manually have to clear up space after some time..

I can't recall the forum member's name, but I think he has a Rad Rover and has actually mounted a car cam on the handlebars and has it running off the battery. Pure genius.

The best deal I could find at the time on Amazon, really cheap however they are worth every penny.
Yes they do cyclic recording.
Hope to find a smaller set so they are not as bulky.

I can vouch for these. I got one for my kayak, and have been very pleased. Pretty decent quality for the $$$. Came with a bunch of useful clipping-hardware too which I share with my GoPro mounts.

(Link Removed - No Longer Exists) is the version I got.

Got one just like it on Amazon called a "GeekPro" and for under $100. I was a little concerned about getting one of these Chinese GeekPro knock-offs, but it has turned out to be a great investment. The best thing is that GeekPro attachments fit it too.

How does the video look when mounted on handlebars? Does it shake like the dickens and make you seasick to watch?

@harryS
You are welcome.
Even if I had to pay $100 for a camera it is nothing compared to actually having the offenders tag on the video to give it to the police, that is just priceless in my book.

Here is some video during the day from the same camera.

Your video is much better than the dashcam camera I own, which is a lot heavier, so maybe it shakes too much. Anyway, my unit just arrived today. I checked it out and it works. It was snowing this morning, so I only took a half mile ride.

It certain has plenty of mounting brackets, and has one for handlebars. I am using it without the waterproof box for now.

@harryS
Congrats on your new toy.
Just make sure not to over tight the holder on handlebar or it will split just like mine did.
Since then i have ordered a box of 10 just in case i break one or two or the quality control had a day off when they made the lot i purchased,on ebay for $12 including shipping, so far only used one for front one for the back. Very happy with the quality and final finish of this product.
