I had the wireless adapter from my previous Roubaix. The adapter I have is the older EW-WU101. The new unit (EW-WU111) is a little smaller and may have more features but not really sure of that.
I installed the EW-WU101 near the rear derailleur. This way, I could remove the cable and just add the 101 without trying to get it in the frame and messing with the Di2 battery.
I would have tried to install it inside the frame if bike stores were running normally but I'm trying to be isolated so I took the easy approach for now.
I updated all the Di2 component software with the desktop version of the etube software and even after all that the mobile bluetooth etube app still does not connect.
Not much of a problem though as everything is configurable using the desktop software.
I have the Garmin 530 display so now I can have a graphic display of my current gear along with it's numerical value on the top row of the display.
I also have the Di2 battery level on another page.
All the Creo info also connected to the 530 automatically. Rider power, speed, cadence and assist mode.
Makes for a very nice system.
Also added the Garmin radar light. This thing is amazing for road use. I thought it would be good but it's even better than expected.
I programmed the extra top buttons on the shifters to control the 530 page display. You can configure short press, long press and double press on both shifters for different functions.
Sure would be nice if this could be tied to the Creo motor assistance. Maybe someday in a software update. We can always hope.
Good luck with your Creo. It certainly is all that I had hoped for and maybe a little more.
