Creo SL sizing help needed.

That question has been plaguing mankind for a long time. I guess I would go down the list of fittings until you hit an important one that cannot be cheaply or easily adjusted or look right. Like if you were tall on a medium bike you might have a foot+ of seat post. So how tall are you and what is your inseam? Changing stem is cheap and easy. Changing cranks harder and more expensive. I am 5'9" and a 31.5 inseam. I might have to move my saddle back and shorten my stem on the large in order to get my knee/pedal position correct.. We all have different riding styles, some more relaxed, some more upright, but you know all this. I guess the good news is that either bike can be tuned. Maybe that toe overlap is the deciding factor. Try to take pedals and shoes for the sitting. Only way to really tell. My LBS put my pedals on for the test ride. I wish I had the opportunity to ride this past week I might know more about how the bike fits. The only change we have done so far is to flip the stem ver which gave it a bit mire rise for a more upright position. Very minor rise in the stem. Have fun shopping.

@jodi2 & @itsmel Unfortunately the only large is 200 miles away and we’re in the middle of a state wide emergency with a polar vortex crashing down. No water or electricity for many, at least we currently have electricity. I thought 2020 was bad! That said, there is a medium near me, so when I can get out of my driveway I’ll head over there for a trial sitting. In your experience, do you guys think it would be easier to make a medium larger OR make a large smaller?
I don't have such a philosphical answer as David. ;-)
But I've had both in my life, to small bikes and to large bikes and both can be annoying...
But the bikes which not fit me where always cheap. I would not buy a bike in this price region when I have doubts that it will fit me. Also I would not buy it, when I have the impression, that no size really fits me (not very probably here, but I had it once where the brand only offered 2 sizes).
Even if finding both sizes of the Creo for testing may be difficult, have you at least tried ONE size, so M OR L?

I don't expect a problem with toe overlap on the Creo (at least not without fenders). I had no problem with this on "L" , what should be similar with you on "M". An my feet are EU size 46 / US size 12...
Crank length is the same on the Creo in M and L.

Just want to thank you guys for your time and input. I found a large SL Expert EVO (gently pre-owned, as they say) so we’ll give that a whirl. Already ordered the turbo road remote buttons, so I’m well on my way to financial ruin.
