Creo SL EVO Inner Tube Incorrect Size?

I just had a small puncture on my VADO SL EVO which is equipped with the original 700x42 tires. I did the repair and noticed that the inner tube size is 700x28-38 (again the original one). Is that correct? Shouldn't the inner tube size range cover the actual tire size?

Yes - I purchase tubes that are in the range of the tire. That said, yours are probably OK. And I say that because if you compare, say a 700x28-32 tubes from two different manufactures, they can look really different from one another in width and they both work for same size tire.

I like them a little smaer as its easier to get in without pinching it.
