Creo motor shifting issue

My new Creo began acting up on the last two rides. After ~25 miles with moderate hills. it would no longer shift up to Sport and Turbo. Everything was fine in the low power mode.
Anyone else had this issue.? I am taking it to the shop tomorrow but would appreciate any inputs, sharing of information etc.

sounds like a trip to the shop is warranted. when the battery is low it won’t deliver higher levels of assist, perhaps it thinks the battery is low, or perhaps it is low and not taking a charge?

i assume when you say “shift up” you mean by pressing the top bottom on the top tube, it doesn’t go from one arc to two to three on the power indicator? what does mission control say about the battery?

Thanks! Yes pressing the button on the right side of the handle bar. I'll check mission control.

The Top Tube button on my Creo is the on/off for motor assist. To change from the Eco (lowest power setting) to Sport or Turbo there is a button on the left side of handlebar to lower power settings and the right side handlebar button is supposed to increase power range from Eco to Sport and them to Turbo. Everythinh works fine until about 25 miles or so. Then the right hand button does nothing.

There are actually two buttons on the top tube:

A single "arc" means Eco, two mean Sport, and three arcs (full circle) would mean the Turbo Mode. Depressing the Assist button makes the assist modes rotate: Eco - Sport - Turbo - Eco, etc. Long press on that button is to put the assistance in the OFF mode (but not switching the system off, as the latter is done with the ON/OFF button shown here).

Len, try this "S" button before you draw any conclusion related to your handlebar remote. And check the settings in Mission Control, too.

sounds to me like after 25 miles you’ve depleted the battery to the point that it won’t use the higher assist levels any more? what does the top tube display show for battery bars at that point?

Stefen, I may get this year's nomination for Mental Midget! The Assist Mode button on top tube worked perfectly! I had the the Assist Mode button on right handlebar replaced yesterday. All is good thanks to you and the others that tried helping me!

Len, the things do not need to be as obvious as they seem. Members of these Forums are here to help!
