Creaking starting from speed level 2

Hello,

I'm happy that I found this website since it seems like a good one for sharing.

I've had my Addmotor Wildtan eBike for about a year now. The bike is a mid-motor 1000w and ridden on trails and hills. About 2 months ago I had to replace the chain and ever since then, the bike will creak during pedal assist and full motor from level 1 to 5. Update: I did more testing and found that the noise is coming from the chain sticking to the chainring from the bottom going out to the rear cog. I will oil the chain again, but are there any other solutions on why the chain is sticking? Thanks in advance!

Buy a chain that fits the chainring? You should be able to get a part number off the old chain.

The new chain that's on the bike was specifically recommended to me from Addmotor where I purchased the bike.
