I took the plunge at the end of January after researching forums to death. The offer was a giant road e1 pro for £2800, second hand bikes seem to be around 2k so off I went online (Rutland cycles)and two days later it arrived. My other bike is a carbon affair that weighs the same as an empty crisp bag so when this arrived the weight was the first thing I noticed, however battery charged and away I went. All I can say is fun should have done it earlier.
Now the issues fogging display and a nightmare to get assistance from the supplier, simply would I buy another e-bike yes definitely, a Giant not a chance.

Expect issues whatever e-bike you buy (regardless of the price). Giant has a large network of LBS, perhaps you could visit another one?
Fogging display: Cover it with a transparent plastic bag and secure with a zip-tie :)

I'd like to have the e-bike you've got! Congratulations and welcome to the Forums!

Fogging displays! So frustrating. I've had cycling computers and motorcycle displays do that. Seems once the moisture gets in, you can never get it out. Both Garmin fitness/smart watches I've owned been great in rain, snow, heat and cold. Take note bike manufacturers!

Nice bike @Nev6601 welcome to the dark side.

Guys been cycling for a few years and enjoy it 70/80 miles a week ( when it’s dry) getting a little older took the plunge absolutely superb, fitted mudguards and with the bigger tyres comfort. The deal was the best available think it was down to the smaller battery. Anyone thinking just do it.

Try applying heat with a hair drier or heat gun on LOW setting. Don't heat beyond what is comfortable to touch. Once the moisture is "steamed" out, cover the display with a plastic bag when not in use.

Having bought the same bike from a guy aroind 4 miles from me in Swansea, South Wales with no miles on it. Rubber pimples on tyres, nothing on the app when downloaded. Very pleased as saved around £300 on shop price. Everything included paperwork was there including receipt. When asking about a service and warranty at my local dealership was told its void as my name not on receipt. Absolutely rediculous as bike is only 2 months old. Will service mechanical parts myself but told it will need electronic updates which I will have to pay for myself. Totally disgusting as this doesn't happen with cars etc. What are your views guys and is this
