Controller resetting Raleigh Sprite IE

Raleigh Sprite IE just started resetting. Was riding and the display turned off then reset, I do get the forth power bar blinking then it resets. Doesn’t seem to have any pattern ,like when I hit a bump. Was reading something about cutting out when it’s cold? It was cold but not really cold, high forties. I replaced the handlebars earlier in the day but was careful not to kink or stretch any cables. Took it for a three mile test after and it worked fine.

Any ideas, I can’t seem to find anything on the error flash which I believe is related.
