Conti eBike System

Anyone got anything on Continental's ebike? I occasionally see an article on it, but it hasn't gotten much traction yet. Apparently it debuted a year ago. Nice looking system!

It looks like an interesting concept; just wish they had made the motor mounting look as smooth as it does in their page header image. Kinda reminds me of first year Bosch motor.

I thought it on the lines of STEPS! Either way, something to keep an eye on...

You may be right @J.R. on that performance; I was just commenting on the spec'd output which seemed similar to the Bosch. Sure wish they'd pop the face off the motor so we could see inside--that would be interesting.

I tested this system out at Eurobike last year. It's made by Brose and it's quite nice. I imagine we'll start seeing this system in the US soon as they have been pushing to get over hear. A2B uses their system in Europe, but they haven't built a tune for the US last time I checked.
