Hi my name is robin
I recently bought a bike on eBay from a private seller who converted a new bike to a emb.
The bike is a carerra vengeance with a 1500w rear motor with the controller combined in the motor, there is 8 magnets on the pedal crank, it has a twist throttle, it has a 48 volt - 13ah battery and is controlled with a sw900 screen.
The bike was set up ready to ride when I bought it, but I am wondering about one of the setting options ( speed measuring magnet) range from 1 - 100. At the moment it is set at 46,? Why would that be, why so many options, I imagine a lot of the options are going to be wrong. Can you advise what it should be and why, just so I have a better understanding of it.
Also I never seen more that 920 watts assistance on the screen, is that due to battery size.
If I was going to upgrade to a more powerful battery would I have to change any settings, for example 48v 21ah.
Or could I fill a 52 volt battery without damage to the motor. Any info you could give me on the above would be much appreciated. Thank you. Robin Jeffrey
