Como 4.0 headlamp short

My front light randomly goes on and off. Likely spots for me to search for the short? - Thanks.

Probably not a short. People use that term improperly. It's more likely it's a broke wire, or an open. Look for anywhere the wire makes sharp bends or rubs against anything that could possibly break the wire. What I found on my bike is where the wires pass into the frame where they hole was cut, they didn't remove the burr from the inside leaving a very sharp edge.

If it was a short, you'd see arcing, you'd probably hear it, and you'd probably be burning up your battery or melting the wires to where it's shorting.

Take it to your Specialized dealer and have them confirm if it is a short.
Could be just a faulty headlight set altogether.

without a volt meter on it while its doing it its hard to tell.
