Circuit board shot?

I have tested my 500 watt bafang motor as per youtube with a multi-meter and a handy-dandy chinese tester and everything seems fine but the motor doesn't work. Is it possible that the circuit board inside the motor is blown? I didn't see any smoke and never smelled burnt. Is there a way to verify that the board is shot or not? Thanks in advance.

Is this a Bafang hubmotor or midmotor? Based on your question, I am guessing it's a hubmotor because you can't use a tester easily on a midmotor.

There's no circuitry inside a hubmotor. Just the Hall sensors, which your tester can test. Also a speed sensor.
