choose bicycle performance?

I usually ride public bicycles, but I feel that sometimes they are not very convenient. If I want to buy a bicycle suitable for the city streets and possibly for the outdoor parks, what performance should I pay attention to first? I don't have much experience in this area. Thank you all.

Performance in a city usually isn't a big thing. How you will store it and keep it from getting stolen matters. Are you talking about an electric or regular bike?

The best place to start your education: Test some ebikes at local shops. Quiz the sales people. See what you do and don't like for your purposes.

Make sure you know the kind of assist each bike has before you test it — cadence-sensing, torque-sensing, or in rare cases, both — because that decision will have a big impact on your riding experience.

Then come back with narrower questions.

If you can find another place/way to rent bikes, you can go with someone and rent 2 different bikes. Then you can swap during a ride and see what you like/don’t like about each one.

If you have hills, then you’ll want to look at torque rating. Usually in Newton Meters (Nm), 60-70 is pretty good. Mid-drives might have 90-120.

What public bikes have you rode already?
