Chain Question on ebike

If I upgrade to a 11-34 free wheel do you need to also get a longer chain.

yeah most likely : How much difference in teeth is the upgrade? Different bike but I added 8 teeth and needed 1.5 more links : So it depends

The bike comes with 14-28 going to 11-34can you just add links to old chain or do you need to buy a new one

Jeremiah is going to a 11-28 from 14-28 the bigger sprockets are the same size so I don’t think that will affect chain size.

You absolutely do not need to change the chain length it fits fine I have done four XP bikes this way and no issue ..
