Chain guard sheared off of chain ring + a few other things

OEM socket is indeed threaded. You just screw the bolt in, no worries.
With the typical MTB bolt (with nut), you need to buy a tool to keep the nut in the fixed position first. Then, you discover there is no clearance between the chainring and the motor cover to insert that tool. So, you rotate the bike and unscrew the motor cover. Next, you start cursing... Been there, done that :)

Stefan, they OEM Vado/Praxis chainring bolts are IDENTICAL to the one I got, 100%, you just don't need the nut, as the OEM mounting is threaded

Your picture doesn't tell it exactly but the bolt on the left looks like a M8x6mm (so it's too short, you're looking for M8x8mm at least).
Which is typical for bolt+nut combinations. Search on for single bolts.

Searching the barcode, I get:
Amazon says: https://www.amazon.com/Origin8-Single-Ring-Chainring-Bolts/dp/B002I7REMU?th=1&psc=1
"SIZING: Inside measures 4mm when tightened, 7mm total height"
OEM Vado spider arm (threaded) does not use 'nut'.
So, after measuring, you are correct...somewhat; the original is 8mm, these are 7mm.
Got a source for the 8mm?
And, to be assured, are you saying the 7mm are 1mm too short and will result in problem(s) if used?

This site
is more precise and states for your origin8 bolts : M8x6mm, total length 7mm.
The original Specialized chainring bolts have a total length of 9mm.
So you're missing 2mm length (not just: 1mm).

No, I searched but didn't find any steel chainring bolts M8x8 (mm) long.
But didn't your LBS tell you that they were "standard"?
So it should be very easy for him to order them for you. 😀😇

He did say, that they were "standard", did not have any, not offer to order any.
I don't necessarily need any.....yet, however, after removing the chainring a few times and threading with Locktite, I thought it would be proactive to have a few spares just in case....
Man, such a simple part, so hard to find!

It is Specialized. ;)
Having a few spares of parts that are hard to find is the best you can do.
Together with Loctite blue the Origin8 bolts should get/keep you on the road again even being shorter than the Original. Which are so special even the LBS do not stock/can order them.

Maybe these from Origin8 ("M8x8mm Bolt"), #22217 but chrome only:
or these (presently out of stock):

These worked fine on the Deckas chainring for my Vado:

Note: Outer diameter 10 mm. Not sure if good for Praxis ring. The length is OK (the product is declared for length up to 9 mm).

The 10mm outer diameter is for your nuts, so your bolts are M8 =8mm, too. Your bolt length is 7mm, "up to 9mm" applies in combination with the nuts only.
But 7mm bolt length could still be OK.

I called the Mothership today to validate. (Specialized), their reply:

Hi, thanks for reaching out!
Ok, my original guess was correct, but I had to verify. M8 x.75 x 5 is the dimension for those chainring bolts.

Can someone "translate"?

And the beat goes on.....sheesh
I asked:

Zach,
Thanks for the reply, however, the most important part of the question has yet to be answered.
The length of the screw!
5 = Size of the Allen (tool).
I have measured the bolts, they are 8MM, I can only find 7MM.

He replied:
Hi, thanks for reaching out!
I really apologize for omitting that, 6mm length.
