C600E-USB V7.0A can I use with throttle and not pedal assist?

I'm replacing the LCD3 v7 with C600E-USB V7.0A
and want to know: can I use with my twist throttle?
and I do not have pedal assist, does it require it?
I have the geared rear hub 1000 watt setup from gocarlite.com
Controller failed, ordered this C600E-USB V7.0A and a sine wave controller from seller.
Anyone with experience with any of these?

It seems to me like this would have been a good question to ask the seller BEFORE you ordered the new display and controller, no?

The answer is likely going to depend on exactly what controller you have coming - and you fail to mention which one that might be. Somebody might be able to help with that information available.
