Building battery pack, shrink wrap

I used to buy it from this guy, and his formula is circumference of your pack, divided by 2, plus 5 mm. That seems tight, because the blue material can shrink 48%. You probably can't go wrong with 10% slop.


With the shipping, it is expensive, but if you want the really good black rubberized stuff, I haven't seen that on amazon. Lately on amazon, I found I can buy the blue stuff and get free shipping.

36v is 13s, 14s gets you to 52v. 3p battery pack can be a little wimpy dependent on controller/motor demand.
