This is very good news for me, since I live in B.C. and have two expensive ebikes coming (fingers crossed) in the next month or two.
I could never understand why regular bikes did not have a provincial sale tax while ebikes did.

The point is that tobacco taxes were being increased, but I get your point, and it would be hard to argue otherwise.
They just need to find a way to tax that comsumption..
