750 w newer version is the kit

The brake sensor lights will come on ever so often out of the blue. This is wehn I do not have the brakes engaged. I turn off then restart the system and every thing is fine, the shop could not figure out the issue, its not often that it happens.



Anybody else had this issue and what was the fix??

Hi Dave -

Sorry I don't have a solution for you but just a data point: in about 1500 miles over 2 seasons with my 75w kit I've never had a problem with the brake cutoff switches. They trigger when I pull the brakes and otherwise do nothing.

@Dave M, do you have your brakes set really tight? I've seen brake interrupts trigger a motor cutout in this situation. Some of those reed switches are hair trigger sensitive and can activate without you pulling the brakes.

Hi Ann they are pretty tight I will have to look into that, thanks for the tip
