Took first ride today went 31 miles and had 15% battery left. Each green led on the controller is 20%. Only used Breeze setting
and it was giving me to much assist. It is still at factory settings which is 100 watts for breeze. Am going to go on a few more rides before I customize the three modes. Breeze, River, and Rocket. The ride had 2,579 feet of elevation gain. The fit and finish of the bike is spot on. The mirror is the bike eye and it comes in two sizes small and large that is a large. The black color is perfect with all of the accessories being black.

Damn, that’s the biggest under seat bag I ever saw!

My brother has a house on Mascoma Lake… the Northern Rail Trail runs right along his property. Maybe we’ll see you out there sometime. Beautiful bike!
 
Very cool. How do you get the side-by-side bottle cages on the down tube?

I think I may have gone this direction if it was available when I purchased my 2019 Domane+, although I like the Bosch motor. I do, however, prefer Shimano over SRAM.
 
That's a great bike for the money. The only negative I can see is that the battery has to be taken out to charge and turn back on.
It would be interesting to see a comparison between this bike and a Specialized Creo. In Canada, the Creo is $750 (cad) more.

Here is the link its called the B Rad system by wolf tooth when you go to the web site read the options. Call them if you have any questions.
I have two of them sitting on my work bench when I sold two of my bikes. If you lived in NH I would sell you one of them I had them on all of my bikes. If you see pics of my Vado which I have posted on here.

You do not have to take out the battery to turn it on. You do have to take it out to charge the battery but after doing it at the bike shop and in my garage twice as I type this I would not let this be a deal breaker. If you see my pics the one with the leds lite up you press the odd shaped button to turn the battery on and off. Surrounding that is a sensitive touch pad to go between the three modes the pad is very touch sensitive.
 
I thought if you leave the bike for a long period of time, say overnight, you then had to take the battery out to turn it back on. One of the riders in our senior's riding group has Domane+LT and I know she just hits the button to get started after we stop for coffee, but I thought she had to take the battery out each morning before her rides.
 
Some updates after six rides. I have downloaded the Fazua rider app and the Fazua app to my smart phone. The rider app gives ride information such as
  • GPS navigation, tracking and trip information
  • Motor power, remaining battery capacity, distance to empty, etc. you can find more info on the website. The other app will allow me to download and install different support profiles they have for the type of riding such as road, gravel, mountain, fitness, and urban. I have also created my own support profile. The road profile that I have down loaded is named Roadbike Chilli Milli the description says it will give up to 150 kilometers/93 miles of range in Breeze mode. The custom profile that I set up tweaked the Chills Milli profile . Right now I am riding with the Factory Default profile. This app also allows me to see system details such as percent of battery, battery temp, battery cycles, and total distance covered of all rides. The other day I went on a 26 mile ride when I got home I checked the battery percent left and it was 32% I calculated that I had 12 miles of battery range left. Using this data the Factory profile range is 35 to 40 miles in Breeze mode. On my first ride I was not using the gears what I was doing is using the battery to go up a hill instead of shifting to a lower gear. On subsequent rides I started to shift into the gear that I would use on a non assisted bike this increased the range. The system knows how much force you are applying to the pedals as well as your cadence. Now for some rider error. This is all from the Owners Manual. When shifting front or back you must stop pedaling to release tension on the rear derailleur. When you stop pedaling (immediately you can hear an audible click) you then shift then you can start pedaling. I was not doing this at first and was getting a hard clunking sound from the rear derailleur. Also when shifting the front chain rings I dropped the chain two times. When doing this the shifts are very smooth. On one of the rides to the Everett dam which ended up being 37 miles I was concerned about range so on the ride I turned off assist which shows as white leds on the controller. As we neared the dam you have to climb a hill to get to the parking lot so I selected Breeze mode and climbed the hill as I turned into the parking lot I turned off the assist. We got off our bikes and rested. What I did not know is that if the bike sits idle for 15 minutes in this mode it turns off assist but does not turn off the battery (the battery will turn off after 1 hour). Got back on the bike and put it in Breeze mode green leds but the assist was off so at the next hill which is 14% grade I actually rode up it with no assist when I got the the top I turned the battery off and then on but what I needed to do is hold the on/off button for 8 seconds to turn assist back on so I actually rode 12 miles back home with no assist. Again this is all in the owners manual which I read in more detail when I got home. I then charged the battery up and reinstalled it and took the bike for a spin around the parking lot and everything was working fine. I am in contact via Email and phone calls to the Fazua USA rep as the app to install new profiles is giving me a error message "unable to push profile" we have tried different things but so far no solution. They are coming out with a major update for the smart phone app to make it the main interface between bike and user so I am not going to use the Fazua tool box app which I had downloaded to my Mac Book Pro this requires a USB connection so I am going to wait for the update. Let me close by saying I am very happy with the bike fit and finish as well as the Fazua drive system when you get up to 20 miles per hour and the assist goes away it is seamless no drag it just stays smooth as you pedal to go faster then 20 MPH.

Update. I finally decided to use the Fazua Tool Box app. So I connected my laptop via USB to the USB port on the Fazua drive system. There was
a software update available which I installed. I then reinstalled the drive system back on the bike. Used the Fazua App (IPhone) to connect via bluetooth to the drive system and was able to load the Chilli Milli profile. This profile has a range estimate of 93 miles in breeze mode. Can't wait to get out and test it. Its been rainy here in NH.
 
Update. Returned bike to Trek bike store for full refund. Let me start by saying the workmanship of the bike frame, paint and components was top shelf. The Trek store employees and management were very professional. The weakness was the Fazua drive system. I was in email correspondence with Fazua in Germany as well as the North American rep. Working with them was very time consuming. The problems that I had were. All assistance stopped on four different rides the only led lite was the led just below the fault led. The first time this happened I turned around and went home. Removed the drive pack and reinstalled it. I turned the bike back on and all led's lit up. The next two times this happened I removed and reinstalled drive pack on the road and continued my ride. The last time it happened this past Saturday I was unable to remove the drive pack while on the road and had to ride home with no assist. This is when I decided to return the bike and get a full refund. While owning the bike it was getting harder and harder to remove the drive pack to charge the battery that is why on my last ride I could not get the latch to release the drive pack. Also what was happening was on the rides I was getting different levels of assist. As an example I went on a 30 mile ride started with 100% battery when I got home and connected via the iPhone app it said I only used 7% battery in my opinion not possible because the ride had over 2,000 feet of elevation. On another ride the assist was working as advertised I put it in river mode to climb hills and it was like I was riding a rocket ship. I was able to create my custom assist profiles and download them to the bike via the app. I was not getting full assist on most of my rides. The iPhone app would not connect all of the time and this was frustrating especially while on a ride this problem made it hard for me to see precisely how much battery I had left as well as the inability to tweak a profile. The ability to remove the drive pack for charging was becoming harder and harder the latch would not release the drive pack. I returned the bike. Need to look at other bikes such as Cannondale, Specialized, or even another Trek that have different drive systems. I do want another road style E Bike.

Sorry to hear that. I have not been hearing great things about Fazua.
 
Saying Good Bye to the Trek forum. Picked up my Cannondale Topstone Neo5 yesterday at REI in North Conway NH. Went for first ride today.

Sorry to hear that. I have not been hearing great things about Fazua.
That is sad. I bought a Trek with a Bosch system but really considered the Fazua Domane. On Facebook etc the Fazua system seems to have issues. Seems like a good company though trying to get everything cleared up.
