Bought a rear air shock, but unable to pump it to proper ~150 PSI. Air comes out when taking off...

so unfortunately, now i realize that the more expensive types come with an "air valve" that locks the air in while you unscrew the bit... but mine doesnt, so i'm curious how does one pump air into this ? i'm using a compressor with a screw bit. Please see video on my failure...

thanks!

I gave up using my shop compressor to charge my air shocks. I now use this one:

It's compact, lightweight and relatively cheap . It works for tires too so I carry it in my rear rack bag.

Just keep in mind there's just a tiny volume of air. Not like a tire at all. ANY loss connecting or disconnecting trashes the setting you're trying to achieve.

even if he gets the air correct . If he's using a compressor at 100-120PSI It's forcing air fast . Which over the long haul will shorten seal life . Depending on how much he does it
