Bosch performance cx stiff motor

Hi hope someone can help

I have a Cube reaction hybrid pro 500.
If you roll the bike backwards it's as if the brakes are binding, push forward it's fine. If you lift the back wheel ( motor off ) and peddle forward it's fine if you try to turn peddles backwards it stiff.
Even if you take the chain off and back peddle the bottom bracket is stiff.
Surely if it bearings it would be stiff in both directions.
Any idea anyone.

Thanks

Trying to remember how my 2016 Haibike reacts. It will turn the crank backwards when I push it back, I'll check if it does it every time. I have a hunch it has to do with the gearing in the motor. One revolution of the crank is something like 2 1/2 revolutions of the chainring. I have over 3,600 miles on one, over 3,100 on the other.

Did not do it before, when I push the bike out of the garage backwards it will not roll, it will roll forward, my other Cube has done about 1500 miles and is fine

Did you get the motor really wet? Submerged? Here's a video showing what water can do and what bad bearings sound like.

Hi
I bought a Tern Vektron C10 with the Bosh Performance Line motor directly from Tern in Europe.
When the bike arrived the back cargo rack was slightly out of alignement, probably due to transport issues. The rack is being replaced.
My main concern is with the Bosch Performance Line motor. When the pedals are turned backwards the motor is quite stiff but pedalling forwards seems OK. There is also a slight ‘bumpiness’ from the motor as if it was full or marbles...
Has anyone had the same issue and is this considered normal? Tern tell me it is fine and I can’t seem to get a proper answer from Bosch. My local bike shop isn’t sure if this is OK.
Many thanks for your thoughts.

This could be an issue, as peddling backwards should produce very little noise.
The Bosch motor has a two year warranty I believe. So, ride it. My cx is being replaced, as there was a marble type sound peddling forwards, very little noise backwards. If possible, find a better shop more familiar with ebikes.
