Bosch Date Codes + Diagnostic Reports

I will post the pre-delivery diagnostic reports (just for information's sake) later, but I am curious as to whether anyone has a source for Bosch data codes:

I have 177 for the drive unit and computer. The manufacturing date for the motor is 29 October 2021, so I am assuming 177 is 2021. BTW, this is the motor on a MY2023 Supercharger 2.

The other date code I have is '275' for the PowerTube 625 batteries.

Regards
Andrew

Owner's diagnostic report? This is for my Reise & Muller Supercharger 2 GT Rohloff, which I at last get to pick up on Friday :)

Congratulations! Please report when you get the e-bike and post some photos!

P.S. Make sure you get your Supercharger with the wheels properly inflated. That's the thing dealers often do forget :)

For my batteries, the first 5 digits of the SN are the mfg date.

14028 xxxx xx xx

This battery was made on 28 April 2021

Hope you enjoy the bike!
Thanks.

The first five digits of my drive unit and battery serial number are:

02750

I am not sure that I can compute a date from these numbers. They also do not match the date included in the LBS internal diagnostic report, as mentioned in my OP re the drive unit.

I think you are looking at the part number. In your screenshot, your Bosch part numbers start with 02750 and the serial number field is blank.

Once you have your bike the easiest way to find the SN is by clicking on each component in the My eBike section of the eBike Connect app.

Are these interpretations of dates of manufacture evidence based or pure fantasy?!
Not sure if you're asking me or Aushiker but this is not the kind of stuff I fantasize about...

I think it's a pretty reasonable assumption that this battery was officially 'born' at 19:44 on 4/28/21 in Poland. The first 5 digits of the serial number on both my spare batteries match the date on the box that each came in.

Whoops. That will teach me for posting before coffee and when I am meant to be heading out the door.

2nd Attempt:

Drive Unit. The date code is 177. The serial number's first five digits are 17705. This would be then a 5 July 2017 build.

Battery No. 1 serial number is 27519 0035 13 20 and the date code is 275
Battery No. 2 serial number is 27519 0051 13 20 and the date code is 275

That's interesting. Does that mean the drive unit was made about four and a quarter years before the bike was assembled?

Following on: for batteries with the first five serial number digits 03728 and 95905 ... what would be their manufacturing dates?

This is very curious indeed. I doubt that Bosch has so much stock that it is using motors this old, or for that matter, Riese and Muller are building bikes so old. The bike is meant to be MY 2023.

Yes. That would seem to mean a previous model of the drive unit. Quite different from the current unit on the S2

Some homless person stole it while parked for a minute at Safeway.
Got two new bottles now.
I have just received from Japan, of all places (thanks, Amazon), a BBB BBC-111 HaulerMount, which will allow me to mount a water bottle on the top tube at the seat end whilst leaving me the flexibility to remove the battery if necessary.

I need to relocate the water bottle cage from the triangle, as a frame bag will go there.

The location will be similar to what I have on my Salsa Mukluk.
