Is there a way to boost the speed on the 2017 E3 Vibe Plus?

Currie Tech made a change from the 2016 to the 2017 models. They have replaced the full displays with smaller LED displays. To my knowledge, you can not raise the speed on the new displays.

Just spoke with Matt at Currie Tech/Raleigh technical support and the E3 Vibe Plus is purposely limited to 20mph and cannot be altered. Surely you don't want to kill your warranty on a brand new ebike?? Maybe trade it in for one of the speedier models .

Addendum, the 2016 version is also limited to 20mph and does not allow the rider to alter that. Sorry!
