Bicycle insurance

FYI, I priced out insurance on a $2K bike from Lemonade, who provides my renter's policy, and it was about $3 a month. I believe coverage up to $1k doesn't add any cost to your renter's policy.

I was wrong, the policy does not cover ebikes. Might cover the battery though, not sure.

The riding environment in my city is so bad that i have to have an insurance just to be more or less calm

Most insurance companies that work with cars work with e-bikes now too. But there are even companies that specialize in bikes and e-bikes. So, getting proper insurance for your e-bike nowadays is not hard
