Best fix for plastic molding?

I am wondering what the suggestion is for fixing plastic molding on escooters?
I know you can use a soldering iron to heat and fix that way, but I was also thinking about epoxies like JB weld etc. Does anyone have some experiences fix plastic molding that has cracks in it? Breaks?

For curing, you can either use any UV light, OR leave the item in direct sunlight (takes longer to cure). Even through a window screen, curing will be impaired. I did that once and the compound had little spots that were in the pattern of the screen. Learn from my mistake.

That looks similar to "bondic" which I have, but I find it isn't very strong.
