Best Bike Inclinometer App?

Rode some hills yesterday and I'm now wondering what the gradient was. Can anybody recommend a good cell phone inclinometer?

(Or a good non cell phone inclinometer?)

As always, thanks for your help.

Thanks, retired NH. I haven't tried that yet. I don't even know what a "ride with gps" app is. Could you enlighten me? Thanks again.

Start planning a route (click on a start and a next point and then move your cursor along the route and look at the elevation graph just below. In my experience, the slope numbers are pretty accurate.

my garmin does it but it can be slow. like a 20% grade may take two or three blocks for it to get caught up. its worse if you just went downhill then went up.

You can also get inclinometer apps for cell phones. I have one for my Pixel. But you'd need to stop and put it on the ground. I wouldn't want to do that on a steep hill, whether going up or down. My car has an inclinometer built in, too, but it reads in degrees. Fortunately, it's easy to find a website that will do the trig to convert.

Fortunately for me, with a good ebike, I don't worry too much about how steep the slope is, just how long it is! I find steep but short is easier than not so steep and really long. Fortunately haven't hit any steep and really long!

My iPhone has an inclinometer already in it. Easy to convert from degrees to percentage unless you need a direct readout. I'm thinking I don't want to know, since I'm busy on the pedals going up steep grades.
