Berd Spokes

Was in the shop today and one of the techs was lacing up a wheel with Berd spokes.
Crazy amount of work to build a wheel.

Hmmm, you save 2-1/2 grams per spoke, for a total savings of 90 grams on a 36 hole wheel. That's 6 ounces for two wheels. However, it's rotational mass, which matters to the Tour de France riders.

Seriously, that shop is lucky to have such discerning customers.
