Belize E bikes??

Ohh god i hope i am not too late!
Avoide them at all cost! they are dishonest and will refuse any problem with there product.
they have my money, and I have a giant paperweight that doesn't run.
And if you did indeed buy through them, well I hope you had better luck then myself.

I bought the trike over 2 years ago, and immeaditly had problems from set up. The battery would go from fully charged to empty in 5 minutes. It charged from empty to "full" in 15. The on/off switch did not work, the trikes power was always on, even when the switch was off. When it did run, it was so loud that I used earplugs when riding it. But what's worse couldn't even make it up the small Hill on my driveway without dying. I contacted Belize about 3 days after I revived it and put it together. After a month of trouble shooting on the phone that did nothing they had me remove the control box, send it to them, with the charger, to test. They agreed the control box was defective and they were sending me a new one. They sent me the old one as none of the problems had been fixedand the metal box had the same scratches as the orignal. I fought with them for over a year about returning it. They wanted me to ship it back to them at my cost, as well as pay for all the shipping on everything else coming back to me. I have since cut my losses and moved on.
I do have videos on YouTube showing how badly it runs, how loud it is, and the trouble with the power switch.

Wow, sorry for your bad experience and thanks so much for the advice. Pass along the links to those YouTube videos. I would be interested to watch them. Thanks again for the headsup.

And as far as i know, there are only two employees at belize. and i had spoken to both. can't remember their names now.

Omg. I can’t believe how loud that thing is. Thanks again for the heads up I think that the chopper bicycles are cool looking but I would never want to get that frustrated. Going to continue to look for a non-powered chopper cycle and use a conversion kit.

By my math, I would have gotten less than 40% back, after I pay for all the shipping.
As it stands now, I have the trike, I will rip off all their electronic crap, bring it down to the frame, and just rebuild it somehow, as motor kits are becoming cheaper now.
It is literally just a normal trike, that was modified to become a "purpose-built electric". you can see the where they added holes to bolt in the motor and battery cage.
luckily I think I can use the same holes to mount a different motor. possibly even a gas lawn mower. turn it into a hybrid electric/gas. lol

yeah, they have my money, and it would cost me more to fight them. But I can warn others away from them, and that I can do for free!
