Always gotta have more parts! Are you aware of any particular benefits from this redesign @wren? The article is vague on most of that other than the pedal assist stopping time and that change makes sense in most cases. Some of our riders want a slower cut out to give them time to coast then shift without a complete power cutout. Something that's programmable on the BionX systems too.

It's really an odd move and just adds more confusion to the parts madness. The new controller looks like the BBSHD.
Yet another pinion and pinion plate. I suspect it was to make manufacturing simpler with some of the parts being common between the 02 and HD. There seems to be no other improvements.
