BATTERY

I just last month bought a new battery. The old one. when fully charged, while going uphill had such a bad voltage drop that it cut out. So what can be done to the old battery? Throw it away, open it up and take a look? Send it ff to be fixed. Try to fix it myself. I don't think I'm qualified to try fixing it. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Charlie

I know there have been at least two battery repair services that have been covered by EBR so that would be a good place to start. Personally I'd send the battery out to be repaired by a service that specializes in battery repack and repair. That is unless you are comfortable of spending a lot of time with a soldering iron and a voltmeter testing and replacing individual cells inside the pack.
