Battery usage stats on my Aventon Level

For those interested in the Aventon Level, I thought I would post my battery usage stats for my 25.5 mile ride today. The conditions were 5 mph winds, sunny, 63 degrees, predominantly level paved bike trails in the woods, around lakes, it was a beautiful day. My average pedal assist level was #3, with #5 in the flat-outs, getting up to 32 mph. The route was very winding trails, with a lot of tight banking turns. I almost lost it a few times (elbow pads are on the way from Amazon). I took advantage of the grassy banks and berms along the way, peeling off the paved trail and shooting up the 15-25ft banks at 20mph, dropping back down, then back up, then back down again, much like my old surfing days carving up the face of wave. I asked a lot of the motor on some of the vary large banks. The trip was 25.5 miles, 2 hours continuous pedaling with one 5 minute break. I started with 52 Volts on my battery display, and finished with 46.1 Volts, 40% on the Energy Bar. The low voltage cut off (BMS shutdown) on the 48 Volt battery should be around 37-39 Volts. I will check with Aventon on that. 881 miles on my Level and loving every minute of it! It still looks and rides like it was brand new, and I ride it pretty hard. I will have my 1,000 mile review coming up shortly. ~Tom

Riding the Level has been a really thrilling experience and I am impressed with the build quality, and it has inspired me to build a bike of my own. My wife and I ride our Aventon Levels together most of the time, and it is a great equalizer for her. However, I decided to up the ante a bit and purchased this inexpensive Mongoose Dolomite Fat Tire Bike from Walmart for $250. The bottom bracket is removed, and awaiting my new mid drive, 1600 Watt Luna-Bafang HD Hot Rod Motor slated to arrive this week. I fear it will be an unstoppable beast.
Trouble? - here I come!

Ha Ha, you know it! That was too funny JRA, literally the truth. You really gave me belly laugh! ~Thanks

I did order hydraulic brakes. I also ordered a Shimano trigger shifter, Velo Cruiser seat, Suntour Suspension Seat Post, and front air forks.
