Battery Tray for RadCity 2019 48V pack

I have recently purchased a couple of RadCity bikes and I would like to set up a wall mount for the batteries, to hold them while charging and between rides.
Does anyone know where I could buy a couple of tracks/trays like the ones holding the battery on the bike?

Reached out to customer service @rad and was told to go on Facebook and ask other owners for help. Great support!

Having tried to get one outside of RAD now (this thread) call back and tell them what a ridiculous idea that was, and ask if they are available through RAD.

Already have. Emailed customer service. Rad replied they only carry battery trays as spares for repairs but won't sell to me. They suggested I should go look for other owners on Facebook and ask for help.
I have then emailed again asking if they could at least indicate who manufactures the aluminum rail. Didn't get an answer back.

I had the same idea as I wanted to put a cradle on my rack and carry a spare RAD battery from my wife's bike, for longer trips. Emailed RAD who initially offered to sell me one, but when I confirmed that I wanted to buy, another guy came back saying they were in"short supply" and being reserved for warranty repairs. Whether you believe that the batteries are easily available but the cradles are not......... I leave up to you. I believe they are deliberately withholding these proprietary parts, but whether that is for liability or whatever reason, I can't guess. Oh and $110 , presumably plus tax and shipping, for a milled aircraft grade aluminum cradle to mount a battery on the rack is complete overkill. I found a trunk bag on Amazon for less than $14 that is long enough to hold a spare battery for longer rides. P.S. a buddy of mine has a 52V 27Ah (versus 14Ah standard) rack mount battery which cost the same or less than the RAD replacement. He mounted the battery cradle to the RAD rack and wired it in parallel (need to be careful not to switch both batteries on at the same time!) with the existing cradle and the thing absolutely flies courtesy of a 35A Bolton controller and even better goes forever.

Pretty pricey for a simple wallmount application but I can see how the extra tray could give you a solid attachment on the rear rack to carry a spare battery.
Anyway, thanks for the info rad-ical , my initial search came up empty and Rad support was less than helpful.

Timpo, it's more about finding a second (extra) mounting plate rather than something that could be used to replace the whole thing (battery and mounting plate). -Al

Something like that should be a total non event if you're handy at all. If my OEM battery dies on me, I'll go that route with a 52v in a heartbeat. The idea of drilling a hole and installing a threaded nutsert is a 5 minute job if necessary. There's also the potential for drilling a hole in the new plate to match up with an existing mounting hole already in the bike frame. Where there is a will, there is a way!

You're right on the necessary changes to the harness between the battery and controller. XT60's, and more likely in my case, a pair of sparkless XT90's (no more POW!) are very easy to source.

Last, if you were being creative, you would wire up the new rack and battery to eliminate the cheesy proprietary connectors between the rack and battery. Add a few inches of wire to the battery, making it long enough to reach the wire coming from the controller, and wire it direct. Less resistance, less chance of corrosion, less maintenance.

I think that's the 110.00 option that they are disdaining as too expensive.

So I'm back to wondering about why somebody would want to complicate battery storage with the installation of racks? Why not just store/charge them on a shelf or workbench?

Probably a substantial space limitation. Maybe they live in a small apartment, with no garage.
