Hello!
The ability the change battery reserve for lights was implemented sometime mid-late 2019 (I forget exactly when we did it.) A Certified Bosch Dealer can use their Bosch Diagnostic software to select a setting from 3.0w to 18.0w. You may already be aware, but this "Lighting power" setting does not affect the lights during normal operation. It is only to select the power supply/ brightness to the lights after the eBike has run out of range.
Selecting the minimum of 3.0w means that your light(s) will have minimal power/brightness once range is depleted, but you will get more range overall as less energy is being reserved for the light(s).
On the same token, selecting 18.0w means that you lights will have max. power once range is depleted, but your effective range will be shorter as the system is saving more power for the lights.
When selecting this value, it is important to consider you riding habits, as well as the power requirements for your light(s). For example, if your light(s) only require a total of 10 watts, there is no need to select a higher value.
E14, and other eShift configurations also have a reserve, but this value is not adjustable like the lighting power.
